This Data Protection and Privacy Policy sets out how London Falcons Trampoline Club uses and protects any information you give us when using the club website or hand in/email application forms or personal information.

For the purpose of running this club it is necessary to record personal information in relation to future participants, current participants, staff and volunteers. In doing so every effort is made to comply with the Data Protection Act 1988.

London Falcons Trampoline Club is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when joining the club or using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this policy.

London Falcons Trampoline Club may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. This updated policy is effective from September 2023.

WHAT IS PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information is information about an individual who can be identified, or whose identity could be reasonably ascertained, from the information. Personal data is solely collected for club purposes e.g. to contact the family when a place arises, to allocate gymnasts a place in the appropriate session, to ascertain medical and/or learning issues that may affect participation in the session, contacting parents/guardians of gymnasts/trampolinists if they don’t arrive to collect the gymnast/trampolinist etc.

We may collect the following information:

·   Demographic information such as postcode

·   Medical or Special Needs information/requirements

·   Other information relevant to the gymnasts/trampolinists ability/needs or customer orders

London Falcons Trampoline Club collects personal information from you via email, phone or website that you volunteer when:

Only information that is necessary for us to carry out our primary purpose of providing services relating to membership, training, events and merchandise is collected.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

·   We may periodically send emails containing club information or re-enrolment information, using the email address which you have provided.

STORAGE AND SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

London Falcons Trampoline Club stores personal information on an encrypted PC/laptop database and mobile devices via an online encrypted data storage server; we are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent loss, unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

The information provided is only available to the management committee of London Falcons Trampoline Club and is held securely.

Occasionally information may be given to our Welfare Officer should a safeguarding issue arise for a specific individual. All information stored is confidential and all those who have access to it are DBS checked.

ACCURACY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Information is collected every term when participants re-enrol and we take reasonable steps to ensure that whenever we collect, use or disclose personal information it is up to date. Any changes to participant’s details are made as soon as we are informed of changes. Information is not kept for longer than is necessary.
